Meet the Staff

Mr Stuart Edwards BVMS MRCVS (With Rodney)

Stuart is the senior veterinary Surgeon. After graduating from Glasgow University in 1997, Stuart gained experience working in a number of practices in the North of England, before settling in Bolton. He is particularly interested in preventative healthcare and soft tissue surgery.

Mrs Lisa Edwards RVN CVPM

Lisa is our Practice Manager. She qualified as a veterinary nurse, and then continued her career into practice management where she completed the Certificate in Veterinary Practice Management. She now runs the business day to day and will often be working on reception.



Miss Cynthia Hodge MA VetMB MRCVS

Cynthia graduated from Cambridge University in 2003. She has worked in several practices throughout the UK before joining us in Bolton.

 



Mr Richard White BVetMed MRCVS

Richard is our regular locum vet, and will be here when either Stuart or Cynthia are away. Stuart and Richard worked together for several years whilst in Durham.

His main job is as the Senior Veterinary Surgeon at the emergency provider Vets-Now in Middlesbrough, where his main interests are emergency medicine and surgery and orthopaedic surgery.



Mrs Margaret Cameron BVSc MRCVS CertVetAc

Margaret visits the practice to provide acupuncture services as required.




Miss Kim Dyer, BSc (Hons) Animal Science & Management

Head Nurse

Kim joined the team in 2009 after moving from South West England where she completed her degree. As head nurse Kim is responsible for overseeing the nursing standards in the practice and some aspects of management. She lives locally with her fiancé, 3 cats and a guinea pig


 
Megan Cole



Miss Megan Cole RVN BSc (Hons)

Megan completed her Veterinary Nursing Degree in 2010 and joined the practice shortly afterwards. She shares her home with 2 rabbits, Max and Paddy





Mrs Rose Brown, BSc (Hons) Zoology RVN (With Elliot)

Rose has been with us since 2002 and is the longest serving member of the team.

Now working part time, Rose assists with operations and nurse consultations and is in charge of the retail side of the practice. She spends a reasonable amount of time on reception and is the person most likely to be handling pet insurance claims on behalf of our clients.
Rose has also completed the Royal Canin Pet Health Counsellor course and runs weight clinics.





Miss Kim Kealey RVN

After qualifying in the UK then spending several years working in Australia, Kim joined the team in 2010. Since the birth of her daughter she now works part time.




Miss Danielle Roberts

Danielle joined the team in 2010 and is now in the final year of her veterinary nurse training.

Stephanie Worgan




Miss Stephanie Worgan

Stephanie is spending 40 weeks with us this year as part of her vet nurse training foundation degree. She is currently in her 2nd year
