Throughout the Coronavirus (Covid19) lockdown, we remain open to provide medical care to pets who are unwell or injured. We have social distancing protocols in place to keep our staff and our clients as safe as possible. If your pet is unwell or injured, please telephone us in the first instance, as we can provide immediate advice over the telephone and advise if your pet needs an appointment. Please do not just turn up at the surgery. If you need to order medication or food please telephone us to order in your usual way. We will provide a contact free collection option for you, and payment via the telephone. Please stay safe during this difficult time.
Our aim here at Queens Park is simple – to be the local, friendly vets to turn to when your pet needs help. Our head veterinary surgeon has over 20 years experience treating domestic animals, having seen most things in that time, and has been able to pass that knowledge and experience down to our entire team. You can rest assured that your pets are in safe hands, with qualified and experienced staff. You will always be greeted with a smile and a friendly face, and we are happy to allow you to see the same vet or nurse, to keep continuity of care.
Why choose us as your veterinary practice?
We are animal lovers firstly, and our patients are at the heart of everything that we do. We are pet owners ourselves, and we know that our pets are with us through thick and thin – we understand the bond between pet and pet parent, and we want to preserve that bond as much as we can. We work to keep your pets happy and healthy, because we care.
At Queens Park we believe that our veterinary practice is second to none in Bolton, and that our standards of clinical care and customer service really are the best. Our fantastic team of vets and nurses truly care about each and every patient that comes through our door. As we are not part of a corporate or ‘chain’ practice we set our own standards based on what we expect as pet owners ourselves. Being a privately owned veterinary practice means we don’t have a head office dictating how we look after our patients. Our goal is to make Bolton’s pets happier and healthier by providing an excellent level of service and gold standard of patient care which is accessible by all.
If your pet is registered with another vet and you wish to change vets, or if you are looking for a second opinion, then please do get in touch. We are happy to see second opinion cases, and our vets will work with you to understand your pet’s condition and treatment options. We are proud of our commitment to ensure that every one of our clients understands their pet’s health and the available treatment options.
How much does it cost?
View our common prices here, and for anything else please give us a call or drop us an email. We are happy to provide Direct Insurance Claims for patients insured with PetPlan, or other companies by prior agreement. Please contact us to discuss this further. You can talk to us about our prices at any time.
When can you see us?
We run consulting sessions every weekday, with appointments available morning, afternoon and evening. For your convenience we are open until 7pm Monday-Friday, with both routine and emergency appointments available until this time. We are also open on a Saturday morning from 8.30am-12pm. All of our consultation appointments are 15 minutes long which gives us time to greet and understand your pet and address all of your concerns. If your pet has a complex issue we are happy to provide a double appointment at no extra cost.
We have an on-site car park which is to the rear of the surgery. Access to the surgery entrance is via a footpath around the side of the building. If you are using a Sat-Nav please enter our postcode BL1 4BY. This will take you straight to the car park.
When we are closed, our Out of Hours cover is provided by Petmedics. Please see our emergencies page for further information including Petmedics’ contact details.
