We are a long established independent Veterinary Surgery in Bolton, Greater Manchester. We pride ourselves on our quality of service, value and advice. You will always be greeted with a smile and a friendly face, and we are happy to allow you to see the same vet or nurse, to keep continuity of care. A lot of our staff have been with us for a long time, and one of our favourite parts of the job is building relationships with clients and their pets.

At Queens Park we believe that our veterinary practice is second to none in Bolton, and that our standards of clinical care and customer service really are the best. As we are not part of a corporate or ‘chain’ practice, we set our own standards based on what we would expect as pet owners ourselves. We have the time and dedication to devote to taking care of your beloved pets, whether they are in for a routine visit or because they are unwell. We will always make sure that you understand our recommendations and why we are making them. Our vets, nurses and support staff work with you to keep your pets as happy and healthy as they can be. We aim for every client to be given the information necessary to make an informed decision on the best course of action for their pet. The only target that we set our staff is that each and every patient leaves the surgery having received the best possible care and attention.
We run consulting sessions every weekday, with appointments available morning, afternoon and evening. For your convenience we are open until 7pm Monday-Friday, with both routine and emergency appointments available until this time. We are also open on a Saturday morning from 8.30am-12pm. All of our consultation appointments are 15 minutes long which gives us time to greet and understand your pet and address all of your concerns. If your pet has a complex issue we are happy to provide a double appointment at no extra cost.
Whilst we believe that good veterinary care shouldn’t be about the money, we do appreciate that sometimes your pet may need unexpected medical attention. We are honest and upfront about any fees that will be incurred during treatment. Our vets are happy to provide accurate estimates for any treatment, which we try our best to stick to. If your pet is admitted by us, we will inform you of any additional cost on top of estimate before we carry it out. Please feel free to contact us at any time to enquire about our prices. There are some common prices on our website here, but for anything else please give us a call or drop us an email. We are happy to provide Direct Insurance Claims for patients insured with PetPlan, or other companies by prior agreement. Please contact us to discuss this further.
For your convenience we have an on-site car park which is to the rear of the surgery. Access to the surgery entrance is via a footpath around the side of the building. If you are using a Sat-Nav please enter our postcode BL1 4BY. This will take you straight to the car park.
